Two minutes from the hectic Nyugati Train Station, this is a tiny oasis of peace and tranquili tea. The dark wood furnishings and ceiling fans give the place the feel of a tropical retreat and the shop offers an extensive range of teas and related paraphelia.

With wicker, potted plants, world music and ethnic knick-knacks this place is reminiscent of a hippy hideout at the Glastonbury festival. There is a choice between more conventional chairs and tables and Indian style floor seating. It also has a mind bogglingly large selection of teas.

A place of refuge for stressed urbanites, the Red Lion serves calmalong with a cuppa. An Eastern vibe is reinforced with ambient music, Asian bric-a-brac and Feng Shui books on sale. Teas come in a little bowl and include black, green, flavoured, fruit, and herb-82 varieties in all.
