Bookshops in Budapest 

The best English-language bookshop in Budapest is Best-sellers, V Október 6 utca 11 (metro: Arany János), which has novels, travel guides; magazines and newspapers. There’s another new branch close by at the Central European University on the corner of Nádor utca and Zrínyi utca. (könyvesbolt=bookstore)

The Intentional Bookstore, V Váci utca 32 (metro: Ferenciek tere), has travel guides (including Lonely Planet titles) and maps, plus Hungarian and foreign art books. Also try Antikvárium, V Ferenciek tere 3 (metro: Ferenciek tere). Two good second-hand bookshops are at VIII Múzeum körút 15 (metro: Kálvin tér) and V Szent István körút 1-3 (metro: Nyugati pályaudvar).

The largest book-store just opened recently and is called the Libri könyvpalota. (at www.libri.hu )
