Es gibt viele Broschüren für Touristen, einige sind nur farbige Landkarten/Stadtkarten, aber andere sind farbige, humorvolle und attraktive "Informationszeitungen". Sie können diese Broschüren in Reisebürös, in Tourinform Bürös, in IBUSZ und MALÉV Bürös und in einigen Hotels finden.

Zwei Publikationen sind immer monatlich zu kaufen Programme in Ungarn/in Hungary und der Kalender der Ereignisse, welche sich Konzerten, Opern und Balletvorstellungen, Musicals, Zirkusvorstellungen, Sportereignisse enthält weit und breit im Lande. Die Bücher sind in Ungarn nicht teuer und viele Bücher sind auch in englischer Sprache erreichbar.

Ungarn: Die Geschichte (Corvina) ist eine klare Erinnerung an die wahre Historie mit Istvan Lazar. A History of Modern Hungary/Geschichte des modernen Ungarns von Jorg K Hoensch umfasst die Periode 1867 bis 1994. Ein anderes Werk ist Die Ungarische Revolution in 1956 verfasst von Gyorgy Litvan. Wenn Sie die Ereignisse wissen wollen, was endlich zum Ende des Kommunismus führte, lesen Sie Misha Glenny’s The Rebirth of History.

Magyarorszag Autoatlasza/Ungarns Autoatlas enthält 231:360,000 Karten über Ungarn plus Karten über der kleinen Strassen der Städte in Ungarn mit komplettem Index. Cartographia hat auch ein 1:500,000 Ungarn Karte. Budapest Atlas, auch von Cartographia, hat 40 detaillierte Karten der Stadt, mit allen Strassennamen, manchmal auch mit Informationen auf englisch.
