Tour: Erzsébet Square - Bem Square: scene of the first mass demonstration, 23 October 1956 - Parliament (Photo stop): from 29 October the seat of the government of Imre Nagy, free Kossuth Radio broadcast from here - Szabadság Square: Embassy of the US Cardinal Mindszenty took refuge here on 4 November - Corvin köz (Photo stop): the cinema and its surroundings were the base of the largest group of armed civilians - Új köztemetõ (Photo stop): Imre Nagy, Pál Maléter, Miklós Gimes bodies were exhumed and secretly re-buried in plot 301, in a far corner of the cemetery - Heroe’s Square: scene of the women’s demonstration on 4 December 1956, the "pro-Kádár" rally on 1 May 1957 - House of Terror (optional, entrance fee not included) - Erzsébet Square.
