The 1999 Theater World Day is the occasion for the Laser Theater’s new performance adapting the life-work of Mike Oldfield.

The introduction of the 3D technique and a renewed computer technology have given an extra dimension to the Mike Oldfield show. Under the starlit dome of the Planetarium music and laser dance together in a unique way.

Generations have grown up listening to the music of Mike Oldfield. Real values stand the test of time and good music remains a lasting experience. This is the reason why the intellectual rock cult have not faded after Tubular Bells’ first appearance in 1973(!) and the Laser Theater’s first Mike Oldfield laser show in 1983.

Various styles come into and go out of fashion but the uncompromising instrumental compositions of Mike Oldfield still represent real values.
