The guide includes some routes that were built during the World War II. and the siege of Budapest, and extensively used. Thousands of people - soldiers and civilians were treated at the same time -. That was the last still operating hospital during the siege of Buda, between December 1944 and February 1945, which was the second longest city siege in the War at all. During the Cold War, the hospital expanded and developed into a nuclear bunker and was classified top secret under the code name 0101/1.
Eyewitness of the history: it is very rare that an entire air raid proof hospital and nuclear bunker opens to the public. The speciality of the complex system is also that it is not just a museum or a bunker planned for a case of a conflict. It was an eyewitness of the World War, as well as the Hungarian Revolution 1956, when it operated as a hospital.

Opening hours: From Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-20:00. Last entrance is at 19 clock. The tour starts every hour. Guided tours for groups of 10 people: registration is necessary.
