The Apassionata is the most popular horse show of the big European cities. The show is renewed every year, and enjoyed by more than half a million people. The popular international production came to Budapest first in December 2005.
This year, by popular request, it gives a one of a kind overall view of the Hungarian horse culture, which has, through time, intertwined so well with our history, legends, literature, and music.
The show has a typical Hungarian temperament, and shows the relationship between man and horse in different historical scenes, from the beginning through today. The production also shows elements of the Hungarian folk dance with the help of the popular Experidance, Sándor Román’s Dance Association.
The main elements of the production:
- The Hun’s battles with the Romans
- Settlement and foundation of the Hungarian State
- Vivid scene from King Mattias’ court
- Knights fight with the Turks
- Baroque elegance from Prince Eszterházy’s court
- Hungarian heroes on horseback in 1848
- Era of the World Wars
- Modern times of today
We hope to give a great experience and enjoyment to all, children, adults or professional audience.
