Hotel Papillon is located in the most beautiful, peaceful and calm area, on the Rózsadomb, only a few minutes from the heart of the city and just a 10 minute walk from the Buda Castle.

The most beautiful and well-known places of the city (e.g. Parliament, Buda Castle, Margaret Island, thermal baths, etc.) are easily and  quickly accessible from our hotel, even on foot.

Description

Our hotel has a  family atmosphere,  30 rooms and some apartments and can accommodate 70 persons. We have 20  double rooms, 3  single rooms, 4 triple rooms and 3 rooms with four beds. An extra bed can be put into some of the rooms on request. The superior rooms are air-conditioned. Some standard rooms are also available with A/C for some extra charge.

You can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view from our roof-top terrace. For the most enjoyable stay we offer you is our comfortable panorama apartment with a balcony.

Polite and helpful staff create a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

Apartments

The apartments are situated on the 1st floor and consist of a spacious living room with kitchnette (with microwave and refridgerator)  and a single plus a double bed, a bedroom with twin beds, satelite TV, a bathroom with shower/WC and hair dryer. The apartment size is about 36 sqm. One parking place is also available for each apartment.

In these apartments we can put  a folding-bed at your disposal.

Restaurant

Our Restaurant waits for its guests with the range options of the Hungarian and International cuisine, where the main role has the home-made dishes.

Half-board is provided for the guests of the hotel. It costs EUR 9, which contains a 3 course meal.

Garden

In our garden grill, pool and a beer-garden makes the time here more pleasant.

How to get there

Motorway M1/M7: exit city center. Direction Margit híd (Margit bridge). Just before the bridge there is an OMW petrol station. At the next traffic light turn left. First street left, second right, hotel is in 50 meters on the right.

From Budapest, International Airport, Ferihegy Terminal 1 and 2. By bus number 200 to Kõbánya-Kispest, then by  metro line 3 (blue line) to  Nyugati tér, from there by tram number 4-6 for 4 stops to Mechwart liget. Walk up on the Keleti Károly street. First street right is Buday László street then first left is our street (Rózsahegy utca). The Hotel is on the right in 50 meters.

From the central station Keleti Railway Station. By metro line 2 (red line) to the Moszkva tér. Take the tram 4-6 for 2 stops to the Keleti street. Walk up the hill, first right: Buday street, first left: Rózsahegy street, hotel is on the right side after 50 meters.


From Nyugati Railway Station. By tram number 4-6 for 4 stops to Mechwart liget. Walk up on the Keleti Károly street. First street right is Buday László street then first left is our street (Rózsahegy utca). The Hotel is on the right in 50 meters.


From Déli Railway Station. By tram 18 to Moszkva tér. Then tram 4-6 for 2 stops to Mechwart liget. Walk up on the Keleti Károly street. First street right is Buday László street then first left is our street (Rózsahegy utca). The Hotel is on the right in 50 meters.

From the hydrofoil station. By tram number 2 to Jászai Mari tér then tram 4-6 for 2 stops to Mechwart liget (direction Moszkva tér) . Walk up on the Keleti Károly street.
