This exclusive non-smoking studio apartment in Budapest city center is located around the opera- and theatre quarter, just an arm's reach from a part of World Heritage, Andrássy Avenue, you can choose from the rich possibilities of cultural events, entertainment opportunities the whole year, and after going out, your getting home is easy and quick.

The main sights of Budapest city can be easily reached via many variations of public transport possibilities, or lots of them are only a walk away! The yellow metro line (Oktogon) is 100 meters away as well as the tram line in the Grand Boulevard.

The studio Budapest apartment itself is situated right at the famous Liszt Ferenc square. Its cafes, restaurants and bars are popular among local people and tourists, too. You can enjoy both Hungarian and International cuisine, in walking distance you will find plenty of various restaurants.

Next door you can visit the Academy of Music - with lots of classical concerts. The Opera house is just 5 minute walking. The Grand Boulevard is also a short walk away.

Description

The building itself was a convent at the turn of the last century. Its garden is a jewel itself.

This Budapest apartment has recently been refurbished and completely redesigned in 2008. It is located on the first floor (elevator is available), it has one spacious room which is very quiet due to the view to the beautiful inner garden. It is air-conditioned (for summer) and has its own heating system (for winter). Both ones can be individually controlled.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, microwave oven, electric hotplate, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, coffee/tea maker, toaster, pots&pans, glasses, utensils, dinner set are all provided.

The special inlaid mosaic kitchen table with the modern chairs separate the kitchen from the room.

In the high ceiling spacious room you can find a double bed, a comfortable sofa (it can be opened for a 3rd person), a wardrobe, a computer with Internet access and a large flat screen (plazma) TV with lots of International cable channels and dvd player. Safety box (laptop size!) and iron (with board) are also available.

If you bring your laptop, you can use the Wi-Fi Internet access. Voip (Internet based phone) is installed - free calls within Hungary.

In the bathroom a shower can be found. It has heated floor. Our washing machine and a dryer can be used.

Towels and linen are provided.

Discount for you in Budapest is provided for longer stays. Smoking is not allowed in this property, smoke detector is installed. As this is a quiet residential building no parties are allowed. No visitors. Any complaints from the neighbours can terminate the rent without notice.

Parking is available at the underground parking lot of Hotel Royal around 10 minutes away. The daily rate is HUF 4500. Parking in the street is a short term solution as you can stay just two hours (for about 1 EUR per 45 minutes) at a time during workdays from 8 am to 6 pm.

After this hours and all weekends and public holidays parking is free of charge.

About the name of the square:

Ferenc Liszt (Hungarian: Liszt Ferenc; pronounced in English: list) (October 22, 1811 – July 31, 1886) was a Hungariancomposer and virtuosopianist of the 19th century. He was a renowned performer throughout Europe, noted especially for his showmanship and great skill with the piano. Until today, he is by some considered to have been the greatest pianist in history. As a composer, Liszt was one of the most prominent representatives of the "Neudeutsche Schule" ("New German School"). He left behind a huge oeuvre, including works from nearly all musical genres. His statue is standing by the enterance door of the house.
