Kalvin House is located in the historical downtown of Budapest, just a few steps from the Danube, Freedom-Bridge (Szabadsag hid) and the Great Central Market Hall. You also can reach within minutes the pedestrian street "Vaci utca", the National Museum and the Kalvin ter (Square) metro stop. The house was built in the 19th century, with all its atmosphere.

Kalvin House offers on 3 floors 24 extraordinary large, individually, with turn-of-the-century furniture arranged rooms, all fitted with completely restored, modern, private bathrooms, telephone and satellite TV set, all these for very moderate prices. Kalvin House has 4 suites and a deluxe meeting room for 6 - 8 people.

The large rooms are nicely designed, equipped with antique furniture. At the reception safe is at our guests' disposal. We arrange theater tickets, taxi call, restaurant booking and a lot more. We offer photo copy and fax service, also laundry service is available.

Air-conditioned studios are available for 8 EUR/night/studio surcharge. Your request must be stated at the very first inquiry because we can't guarantee the possibility of changing room-type later. With marking air-con you accept paying daily 8 EUR surcharge above the room rate.

In the morning you will find a full and varied breakfast buffet, during day we serve coffee, tea and refreshments.

Parking is possible on the street in front of the hotel or in one of the 3 parking houses within 5 minutes walk.

Please be informed that the hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize guests' credit card for 1 night room rate 1 month prior to arrival. The amount will be released in case of cancellation (before the deadline, see cancellation policy) and when the guest arrives at the hotel.
