Budavár Pension Budapest resides in the heart of Budapest in the World Heritage Site historic Castle Hill District of Buda.

You stay several footsteps away from Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church. You can reach the business and entertainment district of Pest in a few minutes.

The famous thermal baths of Budapest are also easy to access. The pension is located in the quiet Szabó Ilonka Street. You can get from the downtown by bus or metro to the pension in a quite street.

We offer budget, standard and comfort type rooms and apartments. The only difference between comfort and standard categories is the location and size of the rooms, both have an own shower and restroom. Room supplement:

1. comfort room +10 EUR/room/night
2. budget room - 10 EUR/room/night
3. extra bed 30 EUR/person/night

Breakfast: Served in the pension only. Here the price includes breakfast.

At the apartments the breakfast is not included.

For families our groups we offer in the third level two rooms (Budget) with a shared bathroom and a separate restroom.

There is a wonderful view from the rooms with balcony on the Pest side, the Parliament and the Danube. From the streetside rooms you can take a look on the Fishermen's Bastion and the park of Hotel Hilton.

The small pension was opened in 2000, December. The comfortable set up, spacious, bright rooms inspire a pleasurable, familiar atmosphere. Each room has a TV with international channels. Breakfast will be served between 8 - 10 am in the breakfast room. Check-out is at 10.30 am. You can leave your baggage in the pension until your departure.

The apartments are located in the I. district on the Buda side, 300 m away from the Danube.

These apartments are NOT located in the pension, but 300 meters away!

The location allows easy access to public traffic. You can walk in 3 min. to the next subway and bus station (Batthyány tér). The apartments have 2 rooms, bath and kitchen. (Equipment includes microwave, coffee machine, oven, fridge). Minimum stay is 3 nights here.

The pension resides in the heart of Budapest in the Castle Hill of Buda. You can reach us as follows:

From the railwaystations Keleti pu. or Deli pu.: both stations take the Metro line Nr. 2 and exit at "Batthyany ter" station. From "Batthyany ter" station it is a 5 minutes walk upstairs the "Franklin lepcsö"-steps to the pension. Of course it is also possible to reach the pension by taxi.

From downtown of Pest: There is a bus line Nr. 16 from "Deak Ter" which takes about 6-8 minutes via the "Szechenyi Lanchid"-Chain Bridge to arrive the Castle Hill District at the station "Donáti u.". Please exit here. From the station "Donáti u." it is a 50 meters walk to the pension.

Services: You can use a public phone at the reception. Washing service is availible in the pension.
